Daniel E. Kenney
Daniel E. Kenney is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Harrington, Foxx, Dubrow & Canter. His practice include admiralty and maritime claims, products liability, general tort litigation, commercial disputes, bankruptcy, and professional liability defense in both State and Federal Courts.
He received his B.A. from Pitzer College, one of the Claremont Colleges, in 1989, and earned his J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law in 1993. While at Southwestern, he was a Note & Comment editor on the Law Review and was a member of the Honors Moot Court Team. He also received American Jurisprudence Awards in Torts and Constitutional Law. He was admitted to the California Bar on January 20, 1994. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court, (Central, Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of California), and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.
He has handled a wide variety of litigation matters including intellectual property, bankruptcy, ADA and ERISA cases in Federal Court and products liability, general tort litigation and professional liability cases in State Court. In addition, he has tried admiralty, medical malpractice, premises liability, products liability, and ERISA cases.
He has presented seminars for insurance company employees on the topics of proper claims handling practices and compliance with California insurance law. He is a member of the Trial Attorneys of America. Prior to practicing law, he worked with the sportfishing industry in Souther California, where he had a six passenger, uninspected vessel license (inactive.)
