David H. Canter

David Canter is a Name Partner in the firm with his office in Los Angeles. His practice focuses on representing manufacturers in products liability primary litigation, commercial litigation and catastrophic injury litigation. Mr. Canter received his undergraduate degree from Purdue and his law degree from U.S.C. where he was a member of the Board of Editors of the Law Review.

Mr. Canter is a nationally and internationally recognized trial lawyer. He is a member of the Products Liability Advisory Council. Mr. Canter has litigated matters in 17 states. He has published multiple treatises in his field including 2 law review articles; California Continuing Education of the Bar publications on topics such as spoliation of evidence, admissibility of computer simulations and video generated graphics, accident reconstruction, biomechanics of impact trauma, attorney client privilege and work product protection, damages in wrongful death cases and the collateral source rule, post-sale duties to warn, recall & retrofit. In December 2005, Mr. Canter co-authored a book published by Aspatore Books entitled: "Managing Product Liability Risks." In 2006 Mr. Canter and his dedicated products liability team published its California Products Liability Law Primer.
